AIB Group are recruiting for Town Centre Security Officers (TCSO’s) to join our team in the Basildon area.

As a TCSO, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the public and resolving anti-social behaviour issues within the area. You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence for this position.

This position will be on a fixed term contract.

TCSO duties are, but not limited to:

• Provide a customer friendly and professional security presence
• Deter anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity
• Respond to incidents and resolve diligently
• Carry out regular foot patrols of the area
• Liaise with emergency services as and when required (police, ambulance, etc).
• Writing statements and completing incident reports

Skills / Qualities required as a TCSO:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous experience within a security role essential
• Confident to resolve confrontation and conflict situations
• Previous experience with incident report writing

You must ensure that you can travel to and from the Basildon area for work on a regular basis.

Further Information:

• Pay rate: £12.25 per hour
• Fixed Term contract
• Must be flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours per shift
• Must be able to commit to scheduled rotas and shift patterns
