If you're looking to attend a recruitment day, don't forget your ID's and Right to Work Documentation. We can't complete an interview if you do not bring documents with you! (Passports and Birth Certificates MUST be physical copies).

Not sure what documents to bring with you? Here is a list to ensure you have the correct Right to Work Documents:
ONE of the following:
- UK or Irish Passport
- Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance Number
OR
- Share Code from the Gov website: https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work/get-a-share-code-online (It is recommended to generate your share code before the recruitment day to save waiting time for interview)

You will also need to bring with you: 
- SIA Licence (not required for Steward positions)
- Proof of Address dated within the last 3 months, such as a Utility Bill or Bank Statement. UK Full or Provisional Drivers licence can also be used as a proof of address. 
- If you're an International Student, you must bring a copy of your Study Term and Vacation dates with you (this is a requirement of your right to work check).

Event Security and Response Officers

AIB Security, part of the AIB Group, is recruiting Events Security and Response Officers for a variety of upcoming Events.

Across the busy events season, you will join our team for several different events, such as Horse Racing, Family Fun days, Festivals, Concerts, Sporting Events and much more…!

Response Officers will be the first officers responding to incidents at events. This role requires Door Supervisors to have experience and understanding of conflict management skills and de-escalation. The role will vary from Enhanced Search to roaming security teams. Security Officers ensure sites are kept secure at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualities:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Previous experience in an Events Security or Response Team
  • Professional and approachable at all times
  • Confident approaching and resolving conflict situations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are imperative
  • Flexibility to travel to various areas

  • Rate of Pay is dependent upon the position and events location/venue
  • Hours for each event will vary depending on the event and location

Events Team Supervisors & Management

AIB Security, part of the AIB Group, are recruiting experienced Events Team Supervisors and Managers for a variety of upcoming Events. 

Across the busy events season, there will be an opportunity to join our team for several different events, such as Horse Racing, Family Fun days, Festivals, Concerts, Sporting Events and much more…!

Event Team Supervisors and Managers will be responsible for the Door Supervisors and/or Stewards in dedicated areas of each event. You may be allocated to any of the following roles:

  • Search and Entry Supervisor / Manager
  • PIT (Front of Stage) Supervisor / Manager
  • Back of House Supervisor / Manager
  • Artist Entry Manager
  • Response Manager
  • Bar Security Supervisor

Previous experience in an Events Team Supervisor or Management role is required for this position. You will be able to discuss your relevant experience for this position during an interview at one of our upcoming recruitment days.

Essential Skills / Qualities:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection Licence
  • Previous experience in an Event Supervisor or Management position
  • Confident leading a team of varied numbers
  • Professional and approachable at all times

Response Security Officer - London

AIB Security, part of the AIB Group, are recruiting SIA Response Security Officers to join our team for events at London Stadium.

With more than 20 years of experience at the highest level, we pride ourselves on our ability to maintain safety and security in a range of environments. We're excited to grow our large scale event teams with new opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Resolving breaches, conflict and disorder in line with the stadium’s regulations
  • Follow ejection procedures in line with the stadium’s regulations, ensuring all ejections are carried out in teams
  • Follow radio protocols; ensuring clear communication skills are used to relay any incident or emergencies to supervisors / managers
  • Follow guidance and instructions from the Response Team Supervisor
  • Complete incident reports in the correct format, ensuring all details of incidents are recorded clearly

Qualifications, skills and qualities required:

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Must have completed the Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) Certificates in the last 12 months. This is the (Blue) E-Learning Awareness and (Red) Security E-Learning.
  • Holding a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety is mandatory (If you do not hold a certificate, training can be offered at a small fee)
  • Previous experience within a Response Security position is preferred, but not essential
  • Previous experience in writing incident reports and using radios is preferred, but not essential
  • Confident when handling difficult situations and resolving conflict
  • Excellent customer service and clear communication skills are imperative
  • Professional and approachable
  • Work well as a team member and an individual

Further information:

  • Rate of Pay: £14 per hour
  • Holiday entitlement is paid out each month at a 12.07% rate
  • Work hours and timings can vary depending on the event at the Stadium (Football, concerts, etc).
  • Flexibility to work both weekdays and/or weekends
  • Further opportunities may become available for the right candidate

Please note:

  • A right to work check will be completed at interview stage
  • A 3-year pre-employment check will be completed in accordance with BS7858;2019
  • A full 5-year vetting check will be carried out once you have started your 1st shift with AIB
