AIB VENUES - Logistics Assistant (Ad Hoc - Events), Milton Keynes
AIB Venues, part of the AIB Group, are recruiting Logistic Assistants for the upcoming Events season in the Milton Keynes area.
Please note: this role is on an part time / ad hoc basis only.
As a logistics assistant, you will be responsible for helping with the set up of our Events.
For example, duties will include, but not limited to;
- Setting up metal safety barriers
- Setting up sign in/sign out areas for staff and security personnel
- Assisting with set up of tents and taking them down after event has ended
- Assisting with the set up of radios ready for them to be allocated to staff
- and more to be discussed....
Please note that this position will include heavy lifting. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for this position.
Hours and rate of pay:
- Rate of pay: £12 per hour
- Holiday entitlement is paid out each month at a 12.07% rate - if you would like further information to discuss this please contact us

- Hours per event will vary depending on the type of event (such as races, concerts, festivals, etc).

AIB VENUES - CCTV Control Room Operator (Events), Milton Keynes
AIB Venues, part of the AIB Group, are recruiting for experienced CCTV Control Room Operators to join our team for events in the Milton Keynes area.
As a CCTV Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and staff at busy events. Duties are, but will not be limited to:
- Monitor and operate live CCTV systems at busy events
- Liaise with Security Managers and Supervisors across all areas at events
- Liaise with Response Teams to ensure they are alerted and dispatched to any potential issues, incidents or welfare concerns
- Liaise with emergency services where required
- Maintain detailed accurate records of any incidents and reports

Skills / Qualities required:
- Valid CCTV Licence.
- Previous experience as a CCTV Control Room Operator is required for this role.
- Excellent clear verbal communication skills are imperative
- Must have excellent written communication skills
- Must have experience with using computers and have a good typing speed
- Work well as an individual and as a team.
- Experience with recording data accurately
- Work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
Rate of Pay & Hours:
- Rate of Pay: £15 per hour

- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Driving Licence and own vehicle would be an advantage, but not essential
- Previous security experience desired, but not essential. Must be willing to learn and grow
- Confident to approach and resolve conflict
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are imperative
- Professional and well-presented appearance
- Reliable and well organised
- Punctual and on time
- Work well as part of a team and as an individual
