AIB Security - Event Steward - Milton Keynes
AIB Security, part of the AIB Group, are recruiting for Stewards to join our growing team for Events in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
Event Stewards are an important part of an Events Team that assists customers and staff regarding any queries or concerns. Stewards duties can range from checking tickets, guiding customers to welfare areas and assisting with ingress and egress. Stewards ensure staff and customer safety by reporting hazards or potential threats to the security supervisors and managers.
Essential Skills / Qualities:
- Previous experience in a steward role or similar desired, but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are imperative
- Professional and approachable at all times
- Flexibility to travel to various areas
We offer:
- Rate of Pay is dependent upon the location/venue and type of event.
- Event Steward: £11.45 to £13.15 per hour
- Holiday entitlement is paid out each month at a 12.07% rate – if you would like further information, you can contact us
- Work hours for each event will vary depending on the event and location.
- Further opportunities will be available for those willing to travel to other areas, such as London, Windsor, Great Yarmouth, etc.
Please note: We complete a full 5 year vetting check – you must be able to provide information regarding any work or education history across the last 5 years. We complete vetting checks in accordance to BS7858;2019.

AIB Security - Stewards - London Stadium
AIB Security, part of the AIB Group, are recruiting Stewards to join our team for events at London Stadium.
With more than 20 years of experience at the highest level, we pride ourselves on our ability to maintain safety and security in a range of environments. We're excited to grow our large scale event teams with new opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Ensuring the welfare and safety of all spectators
- Direct and advise spectators of welfare locations
- Assist controlling the ingress and egress of spectators
- Encouraging spectators to stand clear of exits and stairways to ensure everyone’s safety
- Report any concerns to the Steward supervisor
Qualifications, skills and qualities required:
- Holding a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety is mandatory (If you do not hold a certificate, training can be offered at a small cost)
- Must have completed the E-learning Awareness Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) Certificate in the last 12 months
- Previous experience within a Steward position is desired, but not essential. Must be willing to learn and grow within a busy environment
- Professional and approachable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are imperative
- Work well as a team member and as an individual
Further information:
- Rate of Pay: £13.15 per hour
- Holiday entitlement is paid out each month at a 12.07% rate
- Work hours and timings can vary depending on the event at the Stadium (Football, concerts, etc).
- Further opportunities may become available for the right candidate
Please note:
- A 3-year pre-employment check will be completed in accordance with BS7858;2019
- A full 5-year vetting check will be carried out once you have started your 1st shift with AIB
- A right to work check will be completed at interview stage
